The Vital & Wellness Hotel Albblick is perched in an elevated position above the district of Salzstetten. Its quiet and sunny location at the edge of the forest and town ensures a restful and relaxing stay. The hotel is only about 9 miles from Freudenstadt and about 43 miles from Stuttgart.

The hotel offers a total of 57 spacious and cosy rooms in a rural style, all equipped with a balcony featuring a table and two loungers. Each room has a shower/WC, a hairdryer, a safe, satellite TV, telephone, and minibar.

There are Waldachtal rooms (approx. 215 sq ft) and Black Forest rooms (approx. 280 sq ft) with a seating area and a desk. Additionally, there are Wellness Residence rooms (approx. 484 sq ft) on the south side with panoramic views of the Swabian Alb. These rooms are located in the annex, connected by a corridor, and feature a walk-in shower, a separate WC and bidet, a seating area, and a desk. Special allergy-friendly rooms are also available.

Single rooms are double rooms for single use. Lifts are available.

In the Black Forest Room, the Ancestors' Room, and a charming restaurant on the village square (open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.), you will be treated to a cuisine that reflects the naturalness and taste of the region. Guests can start their day with a rich breakfast buffet and choose in the evening between a 5-course menu or a diverse open buffet. For guests on full board, an additional nutrient-rich lunch snack buffet is offered, as well as coffee and cake daily from 3 to 4 p.m. Embark on a culinary journey! Special dietary needs such as lactose-free or gluten-free food, as well as vegetarian and dietary dishes, are happily accommodated upon request. A transfer (round trip) to the Horb or Freudenstadt train stations costs approximately €40 (£35 / USD $43) or €60 (£53 / USD $65) respectively. The transfer is provided by the hotel shuttle, but only with prior reservation.

The Vital & Wellness Hotel Albblick offers its guests daily access from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. to a wellness area of approximately 2,000 square meters. Facilities include an indoor pool (approx. 13 x 7 m), an outdoor pool (approx. 12 x 5 m, open in summer), and a whirlpool.

Furthermore, the hotel boasts a newly designed modern sauna area (open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.) - a first-class retreat equipped with all the refinements! Look forward to a bio-sauna made of Swiss pine, a Finnish sauna, a brine inhalation cabin, a steam bath, an ice fountain, a Kneipp facility, as well as a meditation and relaxation room. Guests can also enjoy the terrace with a large conservatory and the panoramic lawn. A solarium is available for a fee.

In the Beauty Area of the Vital Center on approximately 600 square meters (open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.), individual holistic care treatments are offered, including products from Dr. Eckstein and Artdeco. There are 32 treatment rooms available, where various treatments such as massages, mud therapy, physiotherapy, connective tissue massages, reflexology, movement therapy, magnetic field therapy, and wraps are performed. Additionally, a metabolic metabolism program is offered.

The fitness studio spans approximately 150 square metres and is equipped with state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment, specifically designed for back training. Additionally, a barefoot path is available. This path not only serves as back and spine training but also offers an effective foot reflexology massage. Afterwards, guests have the opportunity to refresh themselves in the Kneipp wading pool in the garden.

The Albblick Active Club, open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., is based on the latest scientific findings to promote health, youthfulness, fitness, and well-being. Goals include enhancing cardiac performance and stress tolerance, lowering blood pressure, improving circulation and fat burning, strengthening the immune system, increasing calorie consumption, reducing body fat percentage, strengthening muscles, and improving joint elasticity.

The movement and relaxation programme includes various activities such as spinal gymnastics, pelvic floor gymnastics, progressive muscle relaxation, Nordic walking, aqua movement therapy, active awakening, stretching, and deep relaxation.

The qualified team consists of state-certified sports instructors, DTB-B trainers, IHK wellness consultants, Nordic walking trainers, and graduate sports instructors.

Tennis: The tennis hall is equipped with a velour sports floor and requires wearing special indoor shoes. We offer tennis courses recognised by the DTB (German Tennis Association) and the VDT (Association of German Tennis Instructors). The costs are approximately €20 (£17 / USD $21) per hour for hall use and €35-40 (£30-34 / USD $37-42) per hour for coaching sessions.

Hiking and Mountain Biking: For hikers and mountain bikers, the region is a true paradise. With a network of about 90 km, numerous opportunities for active exploration are offered. Additionally, tennis and bicycle equipment, as well as e-bikes, are available for rent for a fee. Within a radius of 20-50 km, there are also 4 golf courses inviting you to play.
